About Megan
Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings both professional training and personal experience to the therapy room. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (2009) and a Master of Education (2011) from Mercer University, as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University (2018). She is also trained in EMDR therapy.
Megan began her career as a middle school teacher before serving as a youth pastor at St. Simons Community Church. She is the co-founder of Beloved Ministries for Single Moms, where she continues to walk alongside women navigating meaningful and often challenging seasons of life.
Her call to counseling grew out of her own “earthquake moment”—a season where the Lord brought deep healing through both His grace and the support of a trusted counselor. Because she has personally experienced how God uses counseling as part of His healing work, Megan is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where others can find clarity, healing, and hope.
With a background in working with adolescents, single moms, and women in various life transitions, Megan specializes in helping women of all ages move toward emotional health and wholeness. She primarily integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Christ-centered approaches tailored to each client’s needs and comfort level.
Megan offers 50-minute individual sessions and also enjoys leading groups on topics such as boundaries, identity, and divorce care.
Her hope is to walk with clients as they rediscover their strength, reclaim their identity, and experience healing in Christ.
