About Megan
Megan graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Mercer University in 2009, Masters in Education from Mercer University in 2011, and holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2018. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. In 2018, Megan completed training in EMDR therapy.
Megan started her professional career by teaching middle school and then began working at St. Simons Community Church as a youth pastor. She currently co-leads Beloved Ministries for Single Moms.
After receiving counsel in 2011 after going through her own divorce, she understands the value and worth of receiving counseling and how it brings healing to our lives. She desires to help others experience healing in their own lives.
With a background in working with adolescents and single moms, Megan’s focus is to help women of all ages journey towards emotional health and well-being through the models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Christ-centered therapy.
She is available for individual sessions, which are typically 50 minutes long. She also enjoys working with groups covering topics such as: boundaries, identity, and divorce care.
